Terms of use

Last changed 25 October 2026

Hordewatch is a free browser game made by Netonic. By playing it you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy says what we do with your data.

The game

The game is free, and there is nothing to buy in it. We keep working on it, so things will change: maps, weapons, balance and features may be added, changed or removed. We do our best to keep it running and your progress safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs.

It is a zombie shooter with fantasy violence and blood, meant for players aged 12 and up.

Your account

  • You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure: what happens on your account is your responsibility.
  • You need to be 16 or older to make an account, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the game.

Playing fair

Don't:

  • cheat, or use bots, modified clients or exploits to change your progress, scores or matches;
  • pick a username that is offensive, hateful, or pretends to be someone else;
  • harass other players;
  • attack, overload or try to break into the game or its server.

If you do, we may remove your scores, reset your progress, rename you, or suspend or delete your account. Found a bug that could be abused? Please tell us instead.

Ownership

The game, its code, music and artwork belong to Netonic or are used under licence from their makers (see the credits). Playing gives you the right to play, not to copy, sell or redistribute the game or its assets, to put a copy of it up on another website, or to load its files from ours on another site. You're welcome to stream it, record it and share clips and screenshots.

Liability

The game is given to you as it is. As far as the law allows, Netonic is not liable for any damage from using it, including lost progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law as a consumer.

Changes and law

We may change these terms; the date at the top says when that last happened. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply. These terms are governed by Dutch law.
